Antonia Fuentes grows Typica on her family’s farm, Rancho La Perla, in Oaxaca’s Sierra Sur. Harvesting, processing, and drying the coffee is done entirely at home.

During harvest, Antonia and her family selectively pick only ripe cherries, pulping them the same day and fermenting overnight using a process she has refined over many seasons. Drying takes place slowly on patios under Antonia’s daily supervision, with adjustments made by hand as weather shifts.

Produced in small volumes, this lot reflects her experience and precision, showing clear red fruit character and a soft caramel sweetness.
